Competitor series Insatiable desire for win

This Competitor Series was developed to maximize the efforts by the tournament fishermen in ensuring smooth and efficient casting even under rigorous conditions. The newly developed VHMX 1000, ultra resilient and ultra lightweight graphite has been used in all the rods in this series (with the exception of A/CP 210 XX 534) and it is high modulous cross graphite which combines sharp tip with strong butt portion. Not to mention the VHMX1000 graphite blank is ultra sensitive and ultra strong, but it can also simultaneous sense the strike, worm or jig’s movement and the bottom conditions. And the material that will maximize this blank shaft is a newly developed high-speed responsive custom grip made of A6061 T-6 ultra duralumin. At the moment strike is felt by the high-speed telegraphing VHMX 1000, the vibration is transmitted directly to the very top section of the grip, that comes in direct contact with the blank, made of ultra alloy centering connector through the A6061 T-6 high speed upper grip head section. And the vibration is further transmitted by the blank through shaft, which is adjoined without contacting the reel seat, to the cork section. And finally, the amplified strike vibration is fed back to the grip head section. Currently this top quality material and technique used in the Competitor Series is the tournament model of ACTION ROD®.

A／CP ２１０ XX ５３４　“JIG PRO”The short 5′ 3″ MH rod with A/CP 210 XX long grip is exclusively used for rubber and metal jigs. Originally the A/CP 210 XX long grip was developed for the 6′ 6″ rod and for super lunker that can even hook a tight spring bass in a single set. This 5′ 3′ rod utilizes the features of short rods and lure the bass by the easily maneuvering difficult technique using rubber jigs. This rod will be highly effective to use on the spring spawning bass. And another effective use would be for metal jigs during mid-winter to summer. Vertical jigging with 7 – 12 m line. With this rod, you’ll never need a long rod. Drop it directly below you and vertical jig. It’s also the strongest metal jig rod that’ll enable you to precisely hook up at the slightest bite or action. It’s the arrival of the competitor’s special rod that can be used from boat for heavy jigs. Also this boron blank contains more boron compared to the other boron rods. It utilizes the blank power which is the advantage of boron rods and successfully developed a solid, balanced boron shaft with strong backbone, which we considered as the perfect, slender, shorter and lighter jig rod. It has a fast taper than the usual boron rods. And since the taper is set at 2/5 from the tip, compared to regular taper at 1/2 the length, its strong belly power will make it easy to hook and haul in the monster bass out of water
